Workshop leaders will send material requests to participants one week before.

During the session, participants will “audition” one at a time, whilst the others watch in.

LTR Junior F.A.Q

  • As with most professional training programmes, London Theatre Runway courses can improve the likelihood of a fulfilling and successful career. That said, participating in a London Theatre Runway course does not automatically guarantee you employment. Contact with our instructors and workshop leaders should be treated as a personal and career development opportunity, rather than an audition.

  • Payment will be made as you book your place in one of our workshops.

  • If you cannot attend your workshop as a result of booking a performing job, we will hold your pre-paid balance as credit for you to use towards sessions in the future.

  • London Theatre Runway provides opportunities for participants to hone in on their craft, rather than teaching skills from a beginner level. Therefore, we advise our LTR Junior participants to have previous experience in performing of some form. They should also have the confidence to perform in front of an industry professional, as well as the group of fellow performers.

LTR Junior participants are required to be between the ages of 8 and 17.

  • There is no audition process - just book your place using our online platform and away we go!

  • London Theatre Runway is not designed as an alternative to undergraduate or vocational training. Instead, the course is designed to enhance your career and to build upon the skills you have learnt previously. Therefore, our courses are not accredited.

  • For our dance workshops, we split* participants based on confidence levels. This is because we understand that some performers excel in dance, and others are actor-singers who get fearful at the thought of a dance call. Whatever your situation, we're here to help you on your own journey. Whether you're aiming to book a job in a dance-based show, or you just need help getting through that initial movement call, we're here for you! All we ask is that you have a foundation in dance as our classes focus on building your existing skills, rather than teaching technique from scratch.

*Participants are split on programmes involving two participant groups. For workshops with only one group, participants will be kept together, but workshop leaders are very mindful of accommodating all confidence levels.

  • Due to capacity numbers, only participants are able to attend the workshops. However, if you’d like LTR to email you the feedback given to your child in the room, just let us know!

  • Although LTR Junior is designed for participants aged 8-17, you’ll need to be over the age of 18 to actually make a booking. This is to ensure that our junior participants have their guardian’s permission to attend.

  • Absolutely - all staff members are DBS checked, and all adhere to London Theatre Runway’s child protection policy.
